A bit about us
Started in 2023 as a sister service to Electro Plus, Solar Plus Power is centered on approachable, friendly and professional service, delivered by an expert team. At the heart of the business is a strong sense of family and purpose.
Shane's 25 years’ experience in the electrical industry started on rigs across the globe. With the addition of a young family, Shane left the rig life behind and together with Hayley, started their own business in New Plymouth. As well as keeping busy with their three children, Hayley ensures the smooth running of the office, taking care of the accounts, HR, and marketing.
Co-founders of Solar Plus Power, Grace and John are pictured here with their little girl Billie. As a a qualified electrician and electrical inspector, John's 13 years of experience in the electrical industry brings a wide breadth of expert knowledge and industry experience to the team. As passionate advocates for solar energy and the great outdoors, they're proud to offer reliable, future-focused solar solutions to homes and businesses across New Zealand.
